How do I become a Kama’aina Member?
Registration is simple with our two-step process (see below)! We ask for photo documentation (see below) to verify that you’re a resident of Hawaii. The last thing we want is for non-residents to take advantage of a program designed for locals! If you have any questions, please reach out to us (808-339-3604). We’re more than happy to help!
STEP ONE
Please fill out all of the contact information below, as well as uploading the required documentation. This includes your name, email address, phone number, and physical address. To verify your resident status, you’ll need to upload one of three different documents — a copy of your driver’s license with your address, a copy of your water bill showing your name and address, or a photo from your vehicle registration along with a photo of license plate and safety sticker..
STEP TWO
Please complete the purchase of your lifetime Kama’aina Membership. This one-time $25 fee not only gives you 50% off all tours, but also gives you access to an exclusive member site which includes easy booking, recent whale reports, local’s-only announcements, and weekly whale report newsletters.
Once the payment is complete and residency has been verified, you’ll receive an email from us with your 50% off code.

STEP THREE
Use your code! Unique Kama’aina codes are generated within 24 hours of the completion of both steps one and two. In most cases, codes are sent out before the 24-hour mark, but please be patient as our office crew needs to verify your resident status. Your unique 50% off code is valid for any whale watch or night manta ray snorkel for life!
